Queen Park Social is Charlotte's South End Social Club where you can gather with friends—old, new, and not-yet-met—to eat, drink, and have a good time.It is a place that stresses social interaction over social media, as the best conversations happen around a table surrounded by friends, not on a cellphone, and encourages and enables fun in myriad forms—whether you’re just grabbing a quick dinner or looking for a full night out!

Entrance is free but an accurate headcount is needed so please RSVP! Get to know your fellow BGWPs in the area with a social meet and greet! Lets build some connections. We will talk about projects and upcoming events/workshop or projects. The location has bowling, ping pong, GIANT JENGA and more! Come out to have fun, laugh & relax! Smith Public Trust is a local black-owned dining room, public house and fun progressive space, offering approachable cuisine, craft beer, spirits & wine in the heart of #Brookland, DC. Located one block from CUA/Brookland Metro with free high-speed WiFi, private bar space, a live performance stage & an outdoor patio. 

Tickets are $15, which includes (2) happy hour drinks tickets and specialty BGWP cupcakes! Enjoy great company, cupcakes, and equally great food/drinks while discussing where we want to see BGWP in the DMV moving forward. No pressure, just good times, and vibes so don't miss out! Our only requests are that you come with ideas and wear your BGWP apparel in style for some cute candids!

Lakou Cafe: 195 Utica Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11213

Lakou Cafe is a local black and woman owned juice & kava bar that offers island-influenced crepes, smoothies, juices, tonics, teas, supplements, and healthy food options to the residents of Northern Crown Heights. Lakou, which means "backyard" in Haitian Creole, provides a space for residents of Brooklyn to create community and sustainability. Located a few blocks from the Utica Avenue stop on the 2, 4, 5, A, and C train.

Tickets are $15, which includes $7 towards anything on the menu AND unlimited Mimosa while supplies last! No pressure, just good times and good vibes so don't miss out! Your OWN PAINT, an idea (or sketch) to paint, and your great vibes! No pressure or particular instruction, just good times. Ben's Next Door is a local black-owned local restaurant and bar that prides themselves on delicious food at a fair price, unique specialty cocktails and a great beer and wine list.  They are known for their upscale Southern Cuisine, signature Chicken & Waffle, Shrimp and White Cheese Grits, Crispy Skin Salmon, and Jumbo Lump Crab Cake. With a 53-foot bar, 9 LCD flat-screens and great service, it's hard not to fall in love.
